Aspire Dance Center is having a Grand Opening celebration on July 31st and would like you (yes you) to attend!  Hours are 10:30AM - 3:00PM

Zumba® Fitness (Instructor: Melissa) ... Mon. & Wed. 6:45 pm -7:45 pm

The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhymes and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.  Our goal is simple:  We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to leave your worries at the door.  Zumba® fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! 

Stretch & Tone (Instructor: Melissa)...... Wednesdays 8:00 pm – 8:45 pm and Saturdays 9:15 am 

Gentle stretching and toning of all muscle groups in this relaxed and focused 45-minute class.  Be amazed as your flexibility and strength increases over time.  Appropriate for ages 16 to 116 J  We will be doing some floor work so please bring an exercise mat (or towel) so you will be comfortable.   Shoes are optional.

Cardio Endurance (Instructor: Nichole)..... Class cancelled until further notice

These specialized, high intensity workouts will have you increase strength, speed, and endurance- physically and mentally designed to push you to your max! Come get your blood pumping and sweat dripping in this crazy cardio class today!

Full Body Fitness (Instructor: Nichole) ..... Class cancelled until further notice

DON'T MISS BELLY DANCE OFF 2! THIS SUNDAY JULY 10TH.

Hi everyone.  This is your last chance to enter our upcoming Belly Dance Off competition.  It' going to be a great event.  Even if you do not want to compete, you will want to attend.  General Admission is only $10.  Come see some great belly dancers, eat some great food at the Rebel Cafe and Kava Bar in Pelham, Ma. and  cheer for your favorite dancer.  It's going to be a lot of fun!

Due to the overwhelming interest in our first Belly Dance Off event, we are bringing it back once more!  BELLY DANCE-OFF II is coming!

This time, we are going on location to the beautiful REBELCAFE & KAVA BAR on Route 202 in Pelham, MA. 413-992-6069 where we are now looking for the 20 best Belly-dancers in New England to come show off their moves, win some great prizes and appear in a VIDEO!

On Sunday, July 10th beginning at 11AM we want you to enter our next  Belly-Dance-Off.  This contest is open to ALL.  Beginners and Experienced dancers as well. Want to just watch all the great performances?  Come join the fun! Pre registration is required for all attending and competing, as seating is limited.

From 11AM - 12 Noon we will have OPEN STAGE HOUR.  Any and all dancers are welcome to participate. If you don't plan to compete in the belly dance off, but you'd like to perform, pre-register for Open Stage Hour! Limit 10 Open Stage Performers. Pre-register today!

Prizes may be awarded during the Open Stage Hour so come early and join in the FUN!  (Pre-registration is required as space is limited) $10 registration fee for Open Stage Hour participants.

Then, starting at 12 Noon, 20 Contestants will be competing for the Grand Prize, which will be their winning belly-dance, filmed in a professional short video production, on your choice of DVD or Blu-ray disc. ($1,500 VALUE)

If you have always said..."Yeah, I can do that" when you see a belly-dancer, then this is your chance to prove it!

20 Contestants will each dance to the same songs, chosen by Diaz Digital Discoveries, just to make things equal and the winners will be chosen by Diaz Digital Discoveries' judges. There will be a total of 3 Rounds...each contestant will have 60 seconds to dance in round one and 120 seconds to dance in round two. Then there will be eliminations. A final song for the top 3 will be played and they must dance again for180 seconds to determine the winner and two runners up.

Grand Prize Winner will receive a Professional Video Production of their winning belly dance routine on DVD or Blu-ray disc.($1,500 VALUE)

First Runner Up will receive a Professional Portfolio Photo Shoot ($500 Value)

Second Runner Up will receive FREE ADMISSION to the upcoming Wendy Bonaventura Belly Dance Workshop on July 17th.

All Contestants will draw a number out of a box (from 1-20) to determine what order they will dance in. Because the dancer who picks the number 20 slot will have the most difficult time being original in their performance, during the second round, all numbers will be reversed. So, dancer number20 will be dancer number 1 in the second round. Dancer number 19 will be number 2 ...and so on.

There will be only non-belly dancers judging in order to keep things fair. There will also be a People's Choice Award, with a SECRET prize awarded to the winner.  Bring your friends and have them vote for you!

Diaz Digital Discoveries judges will determine who the ultimate contest winners will be, with the exception of People's Choice Award, which will be chosen by audience participation. All DDD judges decisions will be final.

All Belly Dancers may be judged on all the following:

1. Posture
2. Elegance
3. Personality
4. Synchronization (Dance matches Music)
5. Overall Appearance
6. Entertainment Factor (Fun Factor)

Break out your favorite/sexiest belly-dance outfit... or put together one of your own. Props are allowed so you may bring accessories to help enhance your look or routine. ONLY SWORDS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR DANCE will be allowed for the safety of all attending. If you do not have a specially designed sword for dance, please do not bring it.
